MAMDANI Act could deport or denaturalize NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani
This week, in honor of the New York Knicks winning the NBA Finals, I’m covering three bills in Congress about New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
Today: the MAMDANI Act, which could deport or denaturalize Mamdani and others, by removing or stripping citizenship from people who advocate socialism, Communism, Marxism, or Islamic fundamentalism.
Introduced by Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX21) in the House.
The acronym MAMDANI in the bill’s title stands for Measures Against Marxism’s Dangerous Adherents and Noxious Islamists.
