MAMDANI Act, Blocking Federal Funds to NYC while Zohran Mamdani is Mayor
This week, in honor of the New York Knicks winning the NBA Finals, I’m covering three bills in Congress about New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
Today: the MAMDANI Act, a bill to ban federal funds to NYC while Mamdani is mayor.
Introduced by Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA1), the bill’s acronym “MAMDANI” stands for stands for Moving American Money Distant from Anti-National Interests.
